Art Tavee

Over the past few years, Art has worked as an independent strategic consultant contributing insight-driven integrated strategy, creative direction and copywriting for leading image-driven agencies and brands.

Prior to that, Art worked at Laird + Partners for 11 years, where he helped establish Laird + Partners Digital, the in-house full service digital agency before becoming Managing Director of Content and Experience. In this role, he devised strategies and creative ideas to integrate advertising and entertainment, traditional and digital media, and the worlds of online, instore and mobile to foster real-world interaction between brands and consumers.   

Between 1995 and 2003, Art worked in full-time and freelance capacities with a range of venerable agencies like Lloyd & Company, Kraftworks, Lipman, a|r media and Margeotes|Fertitta & Partners, developing strategic underpinnings and creative concepts for brands. He also served as Creative Director at CondeNet, where he concepted and executed custom integrated advertising programs for advertisers.

Art is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A in English Literature and Analytic Philosophy. In his spare time, he’s an avid photographer and musician. 

 
 
 
 

Jennifer O'Brien

Until the fall of 2016, Jennifer was the VP, Director of Strategic Planning at Laird + Partners, the communications agency based in NYC which specializes in fashion, beauty, luxury and retail. At Laird + Partners, Jennifer established the agency’s formal strategic practice and built a team of integrated strategic specialists. The strength of the agency’s newly formed strategic capabilities resulted in numerous new business wins and industry awards. 

Prior to her tenure at Laird + Partners, Jennifer was as an independent strategic consultant and consumer insight research specialist working with global brands in fashion, luxury, beauty and hospitality to develop consumer-centric brand strategies.

Jennifer began her strategy career at Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners (now kbs+) and then spent several years at Fallon New York and DDB New York in senior strategic positions.

In life before marketing, Jennifer served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania where she taught secondary school biology. Jennifer is a graduate of Tufts University with a degree in Chemistry and German Area Studies. She utilizes neither of those fields of study in her current line of work.
